About Me.

Hi, I’m Aileen, and while I love Dexys Midnight Runners as much as the next person, most people just call me Lina. I live with my two bikes and thirty-seven hobbies in Seattle, Washington.

As an NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer with more than 18 years of experience, I’ve delighted corporate and residential clients alike over a broad range of project requirements, types, and sizes. From offices and conference rooms, to high-rise mixed-acuity senior housing, I have learned to create exciting, thoughtful design with deep connection to accessibility and nature.

Despite specializing in being a generalist, I particularly thrive on detailing complex casework, putting together tight documentation, and advocating for the real-life experience of existing within the built environment. I am a strong advocate for the disability community and find tremendous satisfaction in making spaces that are not merely beautiful, but also functional and accessible.

When not mired in InDesign layouts and Revit templates, you can find me lamenting the current state of my grip strength while rock climbing, sewing silly costumes for my friend’s horse, or seeing if I can shoe horn one more book onto my overflowing bookshelves. I love bike touring in foreign countries, painting whimsical things, all colors of wine, and generally trying to be a perennial optimist.
